Public and University Transportation Options
University Shuttle Service: The University of Utah provides a free campus shuttle service from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with select routes operating until 10:00 PM. You can use the UofU Bus Tracker to view active routes and track buses in real time. The University Guest house is conviently served by the Orange, Circulator, Red and Sunnyside shuttles.
Utah Transit Authority(UTA): UTA provides an extensive network of buses and light rail (TRAX) throughout the Salt Lake City area. You can use the Ride UTA Website to check real-time route information for buses and TRAX, including any service disruptions due to maintenance or construction. UTA offers a $5 day pass, valid for unlimited bus and TRAX rides for a single day. Passes can be purchased online or through UTA Transit app.
